Anna Bennett is an archaeological scientist and conservator. She is a principal of Conservation and Technical Services Limited, a company she founded in 1989, which is affiliated with the Centre for the Scientific Investigation of Works of Art, providing conservation and analytical services to numerous museums and cultural institutions throughout the world, as well as to commercial entities and collectors. She was trained as a conservator and holds a first class bachelor of science degree from the Institute of Archaeology, University of London and gained her PhD in 1988 from University College London. She held a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of London and has since published numerous articles on the scientific analysis of Southeast Asian and Roman metalwork. She has worked as a conservator at the Getty Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum, the Norton Simon Museum, the National Museum of Denmark, Exeter Museum and on numerous archaeological excavations.
